New review article on tumour hypoxia and immune evasion
We were invited by the Editor of Cancer Letters to write this review.
We had a lot of fun reviewing the effects of tumour hypoxia on four immune cell populations: tumour-associated macrophages (TAMs), dendritic cells, myeloid-derived suppressor cells (MDSCs) and T lymphocytes.
We also discussed potential ways in which anti-cancer therapy can be improved by targeting both tumour hypoxia and immune cell function.
