Learning materials for ‘One Data Science’ are now available on GitHub!

Working with the Access and Widening Participation Office at UCL, we are delighted to organise and deliver a 3-week intensive One Data Science programme aimed at A-level students.

Students who want to learn more about Data Science do not always have the opportunity to do so.

Our activities are designed to increase the aspirations of students, particularly those from underrepresented communities, to pursue tertiary education in data or computer science.

Students get to have hands-on experience with data wrangling, visualisation and basic statistics without having to install or configure any data science software on their computers.

This is made possible by the RStudio Cloud platform. Students can start doing data science projects immediately, hassle-free!

I’m very proud of the One Data Science Fellows, Nanaki, Asma, Kai, Kasia and Millie, for their enthusiasm and creativity in making this a success.
